June results

Sorry it's been so long since I updated. I've gotten used to posting my results in the 2+2 monthly results thread, and started a poker goal thread, so I've kinda been neglecting my blog. June finished off pretty well. Between FT and stars I think I made around $1500 in 90 total hours.

I started this month again trying to maintain a consistent schedule and put in ~40 hours a week. It lasted a little longer than usual but then I decided to take a shot at the 10s and god bitchslapped. I've only played like 900 of them, but its pretty crazy how unlucky Ive been at the 10s. I've decided I'm decently happy with my hourly and how relatively unswingy the 5s are, but it still hurts my prise a little bit that Ive been a loser at the 10s. Whatever though. Heres this month at the 10s.

I've run pretty well at the 5s this month and even though my profit looks to be lower than it was last month, I still made a decent amount. I made a few hundred playing live this month as well. I hadnt played live in some time, and its amazing how much better I am now. When i first starting multitabling online, it seemed to make it so I had trouble focusing on just one table live. It seems to be the complete opposite now. I feel really zoned in and when I have time to focus on all aspects of the game, and play tendencies, I feel completely comfortable and in control. I'm planning on playing 10-20 live MTTs over the next few months, so hopefully that goes well.

I think I'm gonna just miss clearing my ironman midyear bonus this month. I have until Aug 16th, and should clear it the first few days of Aug, so I'm not too worried. I made iron again this month and am to the point now where thats worth around $60 in medals. Will update again in a few days with the totals for the month. gl everyone

Mid Month Update

Still running under EV, but making some decent profit so far this month. I missed a bunch of days going down to LA, so I cant miss any more days if I want to make iron this month. I've also only played 45 hours so far so I need to step it up I want to match my 100 hours from last month. I havent played on stars at all this month, but I'm gonna start getting back into MTTs on there, and am selling some of my action to reduce variance and help me play more comfortably. Probably gonna play some 9mans while grinding MTTs so Im not "wasting" that time $/hour wise. Here's my graph from this month and also my graph from all the $5.3 6max sts I've played so far on tilt.

Don't call it a comeback

But the last couple days have been a nice upswing. Finally got back in the black for the month. Really liking my grind ethic for the month. Gonna go over 1k game for the month tomorrow. Upswing and updated MTD graphs below.

Off to a bad start/ aka sickest runbad of my life

Been a sick couple of days. Got off to a good start but the last 400 games or so have just been disgusting. At one point I was ~65 BIs under EV over 300 or so games. Starting to snap out of it but still negative for the month from just profit. Havent played any on stars cause I didnt leave that much online because of June 1st and dropping 300 bucks right off but a major dent in my online roll. What really pisses me off is that my redline has been nice and steady the entire month. I've grinded though my badluck and think I've kept at least close to my A game, but I think i have been making a few frustration calls and some lack of concentration plays. My plan is to get my ironman for the month and then move some money over to stars to grind 9mans for the rest of the month. If I can win another 150 bucks before then, ill be able to xfer enough over to stars to have 50 BIs for the 6.50s and leave enough on FT to have 60 BIs for the STs. Have a nice rakeback xfer coming this friday so hopefully by then ill have enough to not worry about my online roll. Here is my play for the month. FML.

May wrapup

Never got around to posting my may results, but better late than never I guess. I put in over 100 hours for the first month ever, but had my worst $/hour month ever. A lot of it was running bad, but I think I might have played a little bad too. Here are my stars and ft graphs, in that order.

I think the super turbos may be drying up but it could just be variance. My green line is leveling out but my redline is still going strong so I guess that's all that matters. Just found out Tilt has a midyear ironman bonus. As long as I make iron this month, Ill get 500 bonus to clear. Nice surprise.

Mid Month Update

So my schedule of course didnt work out. I've still been putting in pretty good hours though. I think I'm on pace to get over 100 hours this month for the first time ever. Unfortunately, I'm running and playing pretty shitty. Even after rakeback and bonuses, my hourly is right at $10. I had a couple pretty crappy days at the 10.3s and have decided to take a break from them. With June 1st coming up, I dont want to leave too much money online and I think it makes more sense to leave ~300 on FT than ~750. I think I'll still stick to the plan of playing 2 hours a day on FT to maintain iron status and then spend the rest of my time grinding 9mans on stars. Here is my FT graph so far this month.

I'm still getting used to the 9mans. I feel really uncomfortable in a lot of situations and feel like I'm missing a lot of profitable shoves, and also making some calls I shouldnt around the bubble. I really need to set aside 5 hours next week to review 5 and 4 handed play. My ROI is around 5% but it's only been 500 games and I feel like I should be able to get 10%. I'm currently 26 tabling continous, but I think I can prob get it up to 30 after a little more practice and familiarity with the format. Here's the stars graph.

I'm gonna finish my ironman for the month in about a week and then i think I'm gonna spend the rest of the month just grinding on stars. I only have 2 more days to clear my stars reload bonus, but I've cleared most of it already so it shouldnt be a problem.

Tentative Schedule for the Week

The last time I tried to keep a schedule, it fizzled out within a few days. I'm hoping now that I have a firmer grasp on the formats that I play, variance during my sets won't phase me as much and lead to quitting early. I'm really just looking to try and maintain for this one week, just to see what it's gonna be like to play 40 hours in a week.

So my plan is to play ~7 scheduled hours mon-fri and 5 whenever hours during the weekend. I'm gonna play 1030-1130 after I wake up. Then run. Do 3 sets of 12 games in between core exercises I do after I run. 3 hour session of 6.50/9s on stars between 2 and 5. Then 6 table and game select 10.5s between 8 and 10pm. All my morning play will be 5.3s on FT.

Might put in an hour or two less tomorrow. I'm not as sick, but am still running a fever. Even if i was feeling great, doing a 7 hour day when the max I've done in a while is 5 is gonna be a little tough. I'm sure Ill end up playing more than 5 hours next weekend so I dont think taking it easy. I really need to buckle down and put some good grinding in on stars. I well behind pace of clearing my reload deposit before it expires on the 20th. It's free money and I'm wanting to give the games on stars a chance so it's kind of stupid not to do it. I guess I'm leaving it til last minute like I do with most things in my life.

So-so Start

Was able to not look at my cashier for the first 3.5 days, but curiosity and necessity got the better of me. I started the month both playing and running bad. My hot steak at the 5.3s finally finished and I'm down around 10 buyins this month.

I've selectivelt played a few 10.5s and have done well. A lot of it is just running good, but I only 6 table these and feel like I pay more attention than I do during the 5.3s. It might have been dumb to take a shot higher when i was running bad, but I saw a guy I used to play with at the 7.5s is now crushing the 20s and that made me think I really need to move up.

I've also put in some hours playing on Stars. I have a 100 deposit bonus to clear and also will clear a 50 dollar stellar rewards midway through that. I've played a few 3.25s, but the majority of my play has been grinding the $6.50 9mans. They seem super soft and once I get used to longer sessions and more tables, I think I'll be able to achieve a good hourly from those.

Overall this month I've played around 31 hours and am up around $360 including all rb and bonuses. Hopefully I can start running good again and have the motivation to keep putting hours in. I'm sick as a dog and running a pretty high fever so I might take tomorrow off. My plan is by Monday to have a set schedule for the week to follow. I'll get around to that once I'm feeling better.

Top of the sharkscope leaderboad (kind of)

It's small buyins but number one is still number one. Still getting accustomed to not looking at casheir/HEM graph. I want to look so bad.

April reveiw

Already posted most of my reflections on the month in last thread so I'll keep it short. Forgot April only had 30 days so obviously didnt meet goal for last "3" days. Main goal for may is more volume, only looking at cashier/results every 5 days, and starting transition into 9 man turbos. Stars has a deposit bonus for me to clear. Also realized I have two stellar rewards I hadnt claimed. Will prob split time 50/50 between sites to start and then figure out more once I see what my stars hourly rate is. Ive been maintaining ironman status on FT for a while now so maintaining that is well worth it. 2 hours a day, 25 days a week is all thats necessary.

April graph is a little lacking because all stats didnt get xferd over from my old laptop. Some bonuses this month were credited to previous ones. Overall less than Id like to make but ok with hourly. Planning on making May my last month in Oregon for a while so Id like to leave with a bang. 130 hours, 3k profit.

Salvaging my month and a dream session.

After the first few days of this month, I was starting to think that I might have my first losing month in over 2 years. Despite the rough time I had ending last month and beginning this one, I've managed to turn it around and am probably gonna hit right around where i have been each month. Have been running extremely hot at the 5.30s. Havent played anything else on FT, but I've played a few 9 and 6 max standard turbos on stars. Done ok in those. It's hard readjusting to Stars software and layout, and also hard to sit through a 40 minutes sng when I'm used to ones ending in 9 minutes.

Brag posts are pretty lame, but I just experienced something pretty nuts I had to put on paper (so to speak). I was gonna just do a quick session of 7 and ran about as good as is humanly possible. I won 5 of them and got 2nd in the other too. $82 in 15 minutes is not too shabby. It was almost completely luck and happens once every 1000 sessions so I'm not bragging that I did it as much as it happened to me and thought it was kinda cool.

I'd love to put in 6 hour days the last 3 days this month and reach 100 hours, but i dont see that happening with the weekend coming up. Prob 4 each will be more realistic. Gonna make iron again this month which is my 4th in a row so my bonus should be around 50 bucks and i have around 30 bucks of ftps to spend as well. Really feeling a lot better ending this month than when I started it.

A reminder to never whine about variance again.

This is my graph from the last 6.5 hours. I just wanted to have a photo record of this so next time I'm running like shit, I can look at it and remember that it goes both ways. I obviously ran way over EV, but it's also interesting to see that during a hot streak, my redline hourly is more than twice than my average. Guess that goes to show that lucky streaks arent made by just doing well in allin situations, but also getting good starting hands.

I still only have about 1k of the 5.30s under my belt, but Im really thinking that my hourly from them is gonna be better than it was from the 7.50s. They seem to have the softness of the old 3.80 except with a bigger buyin and the same rake. I kinda want to give the 10s a shot, but they seem really regged up and if I can pull $16/hour from the 5s, why move up.

After rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up

(First image is total MTD. Bottom is the new $5.30 6max st and the one on the right is my results from the $3.8 9man sts.)

Started off this month pretty much like I ended last month. Dropped around 200 in the first few days. I dropped back down to the 3.80s to regroup and considered switching formats. Luckily I snapped out of it and am now positive for the month and have made back what I lost in that sick downswing last month. I know honestly believe that one needs 10k games in the super turbos before he can have any real idea of what the swings are gonna be like.

I feel like I'm finally getting good at using Wiz and HEM to analyze my games. I think some of my downswing might have been caused by misusing Wiz and shoving too wide in some spots. I've watched a lot of vids on Stox and CR and they have really showed me the best way to review your play after a session, along with a ton of other pointers.

I finally got tired of hooking my laptop up to a monitor so I shelled out 600 bucks for a new one. I'm such a nit and hate paying retail for anything but I didnt feel like buying on ebay and waiting for shipping or cruising craigslist and dealing with all that bs. I got a toshiba which has the new intel processor and a shitload of ram. I'm now able to play as many tables as I want on tilt wo freezing which is really gonna help my hourly.

Just yesterday ft changed their superturbos. Instead of the 1 3 7 and 14 dollar buyin levels, they now have 1 2 5 10 20 etc. They also reduced the rake on them by quite a bit. I've only played the 5.30s, both because Im still mentally recovering from my last downswing and dont think i could handle a 400 drop right now, and its looking like the 14 regs are dropping down to the 10s instead of moving up to the 20s. I'm fine with the 5s for now, both because they are insanely soft and because I am running like god. I played some of the 9man sup turbos before the buyins changed and did fairly well. Im gonna try to mix some more of those in but for now Im prob just gonna focus on the 6mans.

I know I shouldnt complain about lower rake, but it is making it harder to get the 200 ftps I need a day for the rest of the month to keep my ironman status. It's prob a good thing since its forcing me to play at least 3 hours, but Im a lazy fuck so of course I dont like it.

What a shitty way to end the month (March profit $1072)

I guess I finally ran into the crazy variance that everyone on 2+2 told me I'd see from super turbos. Started off wining 200+ running way above EV. But that was followed buy a 400+ downswing and even though I made 100 of it back, I lost it right back. Really disappointed to end the month that way and also disappointed I only put in 88 hours. I made iron status today so I'm gonna play on stars for the next few days. This past week really has me questioning whether I should stick with super turbos. I feel like I played the same this week as I had before, but my redline and green line both took nosedives. Hopefully a couple of days away do me some good.

Getting used to the WIZ

This week was really streaky. As you can see by my graph, not only was my profit up and down, but also was my redline. Until this week, my redline had remained steadily positve despite the ups and downs of my greenline. I don't know if the change in my redline this week was just the natural variance that is inherent in super turbos, or if the new shoving and calling ranges that wiz is saying is profitable are actually not as profitable. Wiz is telling me to shove almost any two cards in bvb situations at the 15/30 lvl. I'm starting to think that while shoving these hands may be more profitable than folding them, limping and playing postflop might be more profitable than either. Once I get a bigger sample of hands saved in HEM, I'm going to see exactly what range of hands opponents are calling with in that situation and adjust my shoving ranges accordingly.

I won the most profit bet against the dude I was competeting against; kind of. With one day left I was ahead about $180 to -$60. Dude then emails me saying a freak accident caused his monitor to break and he asked if he could have any extra day in the future to finish it. I told him he could but I see hes played another 20 games since then and has logged on to 2+2 but hasnt told me when he is gonna play his last day. It's starting to look like he knew he was gonna lose and is just trying to get out of paying me the 50 bucks he will/does owe me. Whatever, I guess thats what I get for not escrowing this bet vs a dude with only 12 posts. Knowing that the rep his FT sn will be on every forum and stat tracking site is worth 50 bucks to me. BTW, his tilt sn is darkai il and his 2+2 sn is darkAI.

I only put in 20 hours last week. St Patricks day and the beginning of the NCAA tournament and my brothers coming into town, along with my general laziness, is prob the reason for that. My hourly was also pretty shitty but luckily I invested in a couple guys who did really well in some sets of 45mans which added an extra 70bucks to my weekly profit. Hopefully I can put in 30 hours this week and another 5 reviewing my games in HEM and WIZ.

What goes up...

(First graph is mtd and second graph is this past week.)

I gave back all the AIEV i was up last week. Put in 25 hours but barely made 10/hour even after rakeback. Ran pretty shitty after I got it in obv, and also feel like I was getting coolered a bunch but theres no way to check that and I'm sure most players feel that way all the time so whatever. Really happy with the volume I put in, just wish I could have had some better results.

Finally ponied up the hundred bucks and bought sngwiz. Definitely think it's gonna end up being well worth it. I think the ranges it gives are wrong and that might have me playing a little more agro than I should right now, but it is really helping me look at the game in an entire new way.

Have a prop bet with a twoplustwo member next week. Most profit in a 3day period, him playing the 3.8 9 mans and me playing the 6man 7.8s. Were multiplying his profits and rb by 1.725 to level the playing field. From his stats he seems to be a good player and able to grind so it should be a good little competition and good motivation to get some 10 hour days in. The bet is only for 50 bucks so even if I lose the bet, I'm sure Ill win in that I'll have made well more than I would have this week sans the motivation.

The variance of super turbos

(Graph for this week. For those that dont know, green line is profit, redline is what profit would be if youd had nuetral luck in your allins, and blue line is real profit plus bonuses and rb. You can probably tell from the graph when I felt like I was the best player in the world and when i wanted to hang myself.)

What a roller coaster week. I started off running hotter than the sun. After being below EV for the few weeks I'd had HEM, I didnt know it was possible to run good. Then after the first few days this week I was like 300 bucks over EV. Of course the hammer had to drop and I lost about 250 in a couple hours. Made some of it back and Im still running decently over EV for the week, so I cant complain.

Only put in 16 hours so far this week. I've discovered its really hard to grind the hours regardless of how Im running. When I'm crushing the games, I dont want to put in more time because I've already made what I need for the week. When I'm running like shit, I dont want to play because I dont want to take any more beats. Maybe if I just run normal I'll be motivated to grind. Going to watch the Duke/UNC game with some friends and then going out tonight so Ill be surprised if I end up putting in more than 20 hours this week.

Through a FT promotion, I have a free membership to cardrunners. Their collection of sng vids is pretty small, but ive watched a few. Has given me some good insights and made me realize that I need to shell out the money and buy sngwiz.

New format and new software (Feb profit 1125)

Haven't updated in a while because I've been spending every free moment getting experienced with Holdem Manager. Spent 50 bucks on it (which I subtracted from my profit) but it was the best money I've spent since I bought table ninja. For anyone that doesnt know, HEM is a program that track and databases (word?) all hands and results. It also has a heads up display (HUD) which keeps and displays previous and real time stats on your oppenents. By showing how often opponents voluntarily put money in the pot (VPIP) preflop raise (PFR) 3bet and numerous others, you are able to make much more informed decisions and what ranges your opponents are limping, calling and raising with.

Aside from tracking your results, the software also has an allin EV graph. This line runs beside your true profit and show how much money (according to ICM at least) you would have made if you had hand nuetral luck on all of your all in situations. AIEV is only a small part of what decides how well you are running, but its a good stat nontheless and at least helps me to not tilt when my profit isnt going up but my redline is.

I successfully moved up to the 7.5 super turbos this month. I still played a few on the 3.5s on slow traffic days, but I'm staking some players in the 3.8s now so i cant really play in them. I played a few dons this month but only made 40 bucks or so. I ran really bad in the ones I played and might give them another chance next month now that I have a HUD. I got about 1800 of the stts in but am looking to do at least twice that next month, if not more. Rakeback and deposit and other bonuses were a pretty big part of my profits from this month (about $350 dollars.) I ran pretty far under EV in the tournaments I tracked (about 150 bucks) and felt like I ran kinda bad in the ones that werent' This format has a ton of variance and its something I really need to get used to and not let downswings affect my motivation to grind.

My goal for this month is to put in about 160 hours have profit+RB of 2750. I think its a reasonable goal. Hopefully I'll be putting in some time with my new staking business this month and hopefully Ill get some profit from that as well. Another goal I have this month is to not spend as much time on 2p2. Thats where Im gonna find my stakes and where i can post hands and get advice, but so much time is wasted there on shit threads.

I'm gonna try and update at least once a week. HEM tracks hours and profit exactly so I wont have to make semiaccurate estimates using sharkscope like I've been doing. Hope everyone has a good month at the tables.

Goodbye DoNs; Hello profit (jan profit 1330)

What a month. I started out trying to play enough DoNs to get myself to Platinum Star and eventually SN, and ended it having given up DoNs and playing the majority of my hours on Full Tilt. After getting feed up with break even stretches I told myself I'd played my last DoN and instead started to play the 6 man on Full Tilt. In the two weeks since I've started playing those, I'm up around 400 plus 160 dollars I've cleared of my deposit bonus and another 70 or so from rakeback. I've also played around 80 180 mans on stars in the last week and am up around 130. I finished the month only up a few pennies in the DoNs, but from a deposti bonus I cleared, running as hot as the sun in the FPP sats, and my 4.40 profit, I made around $280 on stars this month. I also made around 420 from cake. Add that together and my profit for the month was right around $1330. Not close to the goal I set for myself to begin this year, but given that the first half of the month was wasted breaking even at the DoNs, I'll take it. A lot of this profit also came from deposit bonuses and those are pretty much all cleared so I'm not gonna be able to do that again.

So my goal for february. I want to completely move up from the 4 dollar super turbos to the 8s. I want to play at least 3k of them and hopefully more. I want to spend at least 2 sundays playing an MTT schedule on stars. I'm gonna set my profit goal at 1750 and my total hours goal at 175. I;m gonna be keeping better track of my hours played this month because hopefully it will be more consistent and I wont be moving back and forth trying new formats like I did last month.

Some parting thoughts about Double or Nothing tournaments. Discovering this format is what first lead me to start making a good profit online. Learning these taught me about ICM, bubble play and wanting to learn them better is what turned me onto two plus two. Looking back, solely focusing on these might have stunted my growth as a player a little bit. My postflop play is pretty weak probably because I havent had to have any for so long. I'm also having to relearn how to accumulate a big stack to win a tournament since this kind of play is counterproductive in DoNs. But despite what a lot of people might say, DoNs are still real poker. I'd be willing to bet that DoN pro grinders could beat almost any format of sng put in front of them. I don't know if the inverse would be true of grinders of other formats being able .to beat DoNs

Time away from the DoNs

After a couple more brutal double or nothing sessions, I decided to take a break from them. Over the last few days I've been concentrating on playing the 6 man super turbos on tilt. I've finally started to get those down and am beating them for around a 6% ROI. Add the deposit bonus Im clearing and rakeback and it's actually been a pretty good week. I'm ready to give the DoNs another try and am planning for some heavy grinding this weekend.

I'm wanting to get more into MTTs and have a schedule planned out for this sunday. Being the nit that I am, I'm selling out half of myself on 2p2, partly to just minimize if i bust out of every tourney, and also to start to build a good rep with stakers so eventually I can get rolled in bigger tourneys.

Also gave rush poker a try. Its crazy being able to 8 table and get in over 1500 hands an hour. Broke even in 2 hours of play but made a decent profit factoring in rakeback and bonus clearing. With 80bb min starting stacks and average stacks around 130bb, there is a ton of play and profitable since most online players arent used to playing so deep.

Finally out of the muck

This past week and a half has been probably the toughest since I started seriously playing poker. After starting the month with a few winning sessions, I couldn't book a win to save my life. It seemed like every session no matter how I started or finished, I would end up down 6 to 8 buyins. I had a 250 dollar downswing, which is the worst of my poker career. I have made more than that on cake this month, but it's still scary having that happen on the site and game that has been my bread and butter. I gave the 9man turbos a try, and though I started off well, I just couldnt get anything going.

Being fed up with stars, I decided to signup with Full Tilt and clear a deposit bonus. While I started decent, I quickly had a bad downswing there. I dropped 160 bucks playing 6 man super turbos and 9 man turbos. Finally two days ago things started turning around. I got back to even on tilt and am now up about 100 on the site. I've also booked wins my last two sessions on Stars. The DONs are still beatable, but I really think I need to start expanding into multitable SNGs, MTTs and cash.

The downswing did away with my exercise and nutrition routine. I think that lead to a snowballing effect and might have been how it lasted as long as it did. I'm starting to get back on track and hopefully can keep it up even if I start running bad again.

The last week has made me take a serious look at my poker career. I was honestly starting to think that I would never win again and that the past 8 years learning poker had been a waste. I now realize that I need to put a lot more work into my game. I need to start reviewing sessions and hands. I need to purchase HEM or Pokertracker and probably also SNG Wiz. And most importantly, I need to expand my game past just DONs because this format seems to be getting solved by the average player and probably will continue to become less profitable until not even the rake can be beat.

Out of the gates slow

Since my moderate success the first couple days, I've haven't had a winning session. Most have been break even with a couple of losing ones. My play is ok but I seem to be having trouble finding a balance between letting myself get too short and forcing the issue when I'm still safe. Some of it is lack of concentration because right as I click the fold key, I realize that this is a spot I should have shoved. One of the drawbacks on TN is that being able to execute a decision in a tenth of a second instead of the few seconds it takes to move a mouse and do it means less time to think about the decision.

In the days I didnt have scheduled I played some 5s. I've noticed I need to be a lot tighter in those with my shoves because the average player doesnt realize how dumb it is to call a shove light. I'm hoping to get about 1k 10.8s in between now and Sun. I've been slacking a little on my pace and the weekends are always juicy and will be a good time to catch up.

Luckily I have done really well in the FPP sats. I've cashed in 8 of the 9 I've played when 33% is break even. I've come to realize that my FPPs and stellar bonuses are going to be a major part of my income and I need to not stress out as much about prolonged break even tournament stretches. I've also done really well on Cake the last week clearing up the last of my deposit bonuses. I think I might go clear a dep bonus on Tilt the next few weeks.

They cant all be winners

Pretty gross session today. Started off pretty well. Made a few mistakes but nothing too costly. Was up prob around 3 BIs and was down to the last 20 or so games of my session. I then proceeded to lose 11 straight games. I did but bad beat in some of them, but a lot of it was shoving bvb and the other guy calling me with a hand that dominated. I tilted a little bit after the first half dozen or so, but I dont think I played too poorly after that. Maybe pushed a few times when I didn't need to. This was the longest session I've played in a while so I felt a little overstressed near the end. I managed to win the last couple and only ended up down 6 BIs.

Losing that many in a row is such a strange sensation. The first two are easy to ignore, but when you get up to losing 8 and 9 in a row, you start feeling pretty suck. The expression of being "stuck" is such a good one because you feel like you've been stabbed in the gut and it opens you up and makes you leak chips. Strangely enough, around 10 or 11 I reached the point where getting bad beat didn't surprise or faze me and I just wanted the session to be over.

I'm still getting on track with my nutrition and exercise so hopefully as that starts to come around, I'll get better at handling the long sessions and beats. I have the next two days scheduled off, but I think I might play a little on cake to try and clear the bonus I have on their and might mix in a few MTTs on stars.

Off to a fair start

Since I was a little out of practice, I've started the month playing shorter sessions. I'm doing about 4 hours now and hope to work my way up to the 6 I need to have by the end of the week. I thought today was Sunday, so I didn't play the shift that I was supposed to. My play has been really good and I've run pretty decent too. The bubbles were busting really quick today which is probably due to a lot fish not knowing how to play them. It was scary how often my 60/40s held up and I'm also proud of how little the beats fazed me. I've almost unlocked my first Stars stellar rewards bonus and am also going to get a deposit bonus of $100 dollars which should take about a week to unlock. I've decided to play my cash on Stars until I reach the 25Nl level since the rake on FTP I hear is really high for the low stakes. I've also decided to play some 5.4 DONs when I feel like playing outside of the normal shifts I've set up for myself.

I've created a spreadsheet to track my play. I have one each for the 10.8s, 5.4s, FPP sats and cash games. This should help me keep track of my profitability in each game and also will come in handy if I decide to pay taxes on my winnings this year.
